Wife and I love Camp Grounds WITH Golf Courses. Mostly stay WEST of Mississippi River. Any suggestions? We have played about 67 different golf courses in the last 3 years.
If you are ever in the area around Temecula, CA try Pechanga Casino and RV Resort. They have a golf course there you might enjoy. It's beautiful and from what I've been told there was a lot of money spent building it and the main clubhouse/restaurant building which is also very, very nice. Oh, and the RV park itself ain't too shabby either, just read some of the reviews............... Travel safe and enjoy those travels................. Regards, BankShort
Deer Park, WA. Great resort and an excellent discount on the course for those staying there. If you venture further north into Alberta, try Coyote Creek RV park in Sundre, just north west of Calgary.
The Lewis & Clark Golf & RV Park in Astoria OR is real nice and the owners are delightful. Astoria is neat town right on the Columbia River. The maritime museum there is awesome.
Check out Rancho California RV Resort just outside Temecula, California on hi way 79. Listed under Aguanga, California. It's a reservations only park/resort with some restrictions on age, length etc., but a great place to winter over, golf, hike, swim, socialize.
Best resort for Golf (and now pickleball) is the resort in northern Idaho. Little town called Blanchard. But don't be distracted from the small town it's beautiful there. Coeur d'Alene about 1/2 hour away (yet more golf courses) and Spokane is about 1/2 hour the other way. Excellent, well maintained golf course at StoneRidge Golf and Recreational Community. Stay at the RV Resort and utilize the "Stay and Play" feature they offer. Excellent price overall.
Earlier this summer I was researching the RV park in Blanchard, ID. It sounded pretty good, but, From looking at their website, it appears that the RV resort at StoneRidge is Class A only.
