on our last camping trip my wife had to grab something from the trailer while I had the brakes applied. She noticed an easily noticeable hum coming from the brakes.
Is this normal or a sign of something wrong?

    Thanks,
    Cor

Electric magnet brakes engaged - it's normal. When I need to change a tire, I have one of my kids in the truck and tell them when to brake and when not, so I can loosen or tighten the lug nuts - I know when they are engaged by the hum.

    Sorry, couldn't resist:

Is it a tune you can recognize?
