    So I have taken advice from some amazing friends on this site and started a thread for our 2017 trip.

    Here are the basics;

    Family of 5 Dad, Mum and 3 Littles Aussies under 12.

    My parents are paying for the trip to do Disneyland, Universal etc.

    We plan to extend from there. Due to the latest information from those who are paying the trip cost to L.A. it will be either September 2017 or December 2017.
    In my mind this makes the trip two different options;

    1. September - Oregon Coast, Seattle, Yosemite?
    2. December - Vegas, New Mexico, Utah?

    The weather will be the elephant in the room.

    I have had some amazing, well thought out, experienced advice already from great mates like @BankShot @BC Wanderer @NYDutch @Texasrvers @mdcamping @Onemoretrail and I am humbled that they took the time to do it.

    So I want your advice on everything!

    I think its C class RV all the way but beyond that I plan to be a sponge for ideas and advice.

    I have a bit over a year to plan so....Game on.....Plus whatever happens we plan to find a way to catch up with at least @BankShot to add some photos to the site.

    Hey Jason, the class C looks great! Like a awning... usually the class C rentals on the east coast that I have seen don't come with awnings.

    You have a advantage, my observation most of the rental folks here on the east coast have little experience when it comes to RV driving/maintenance. Your RV experience will help make your trip more enjoyable! :cool:
