We should be a week or two from delivery of our first TT, and even though it'll be sitting until spring we're excited as #%&(@!

Before the maiden voyage I'm planning on dual 6v trojans, a Victron power meter, and a Progessive EMS-HW30C.

Again, there is a lot of real world knowledge in here, thanks for sharing!

Welcome to the world of RVing. Making the transition from reading about things to actually doing them isn't as big a hurdle as it might, at first, seem. The community of people here will gladly share their knowledge to help make your transition as easy as possible.

Congratulations on your new purchase and I hope you will have lots of great camping experiences. Good to see that you made the wise investment and bought a PI EMS. You just never know when that will save the day. Ours has saved us on a couple of occasions.

The reviews on here are very helpful when you are trying to decide on a place to stay and once you have submitted a couple yourself we'll be able to read about the places you've had experience of.

    Safe travels.

Congratulations on joining the "Gone camping" crowd! I'm sure you'll have a great time when the weather turns warmer, but don't forget to make the first couple of nights "driveway camping" to get a feel for what you need but forgot about. :D

Great advice from NYDutch - If you by chance have a 30/50 amp circuit (whatever your TT uses) at the house to hook into, you might want to try a night or two "hooked up" and a night or two in "dry mode". This will give you a chance to test everything out to make sure it is all in good working order before you hit the road. And as NYDutch stated, this allows you to find out about the things you will forget on your first trip out. Also if you can, spend a night in it when it's raining as this will be a good check for any water leaks that might show up out on the road. Nothing like laying in bed listening to the rain on the roof and then feel a drop splatter on your forehead........... There's always a few "kinks" that need to be worked out and taken care of, and best to get thru them in your driveway. Enjoy your new TT and travel safe when you do venture out....

    Regards, BankShot..........(aka Terry)
