We had a great week at Golden Pine! The park is very clean and the people are friendly. You couldn't ask for a better location. It is an easy walk to Gull Lake and June Lake Marinas and the June Lake Village. We look forward to returning many times. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

New owners have given this rv park a breath of fresh air! Clean and neat with pleasant owners on site. Wifi was good, cable had lots of channels, facilities were neat and clean. The laundry only has one washer and one dryer but both worked just fine. Easy walk to restaurants and lakes. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

My wife and I just spent 5 days at Golden Pine RV Park. The owners and hosts were very friendly and helpful. Considering the area, this is the best in town. Clean bathrooms and hot showers make it more desirable. Park is covered with gravel (no concrete where you park). I see some folks are there for the summer as they try to beat the heat from So Cal. We stayed in site 8 and there is privacy in the back. Lots are not that big comparing to So Cal RV parks. But it is cozy and quiet. The park is centrally located and is close to both Gull and June Lake to fish or just to have a nice walk. Small town feeling and we are glad that we stayed in June Lake. We would come back again to this park. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Camp hosts are professional & friendly. Spaces can be tight. All full hookups were easily accessible & in good working order. Cable was iffy. sites were level gravel. Even though we thought price was high, & no discounts, we would stay here again. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Motorhome.

This a small park located between Gull Lake and June Lake. There is some shade during parts of the day. All sites are gravel with hookups at the rear. It can get pretty tight when the park is full, which is most the time. Good tv and wifi. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful. Many returning RVers that stay for many months. Nice walk to both lakes or into town. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a small rv park and is very popular with many return campers. Mostly older, retired people. A lot of them stay for several months each summer. A very friendly and welcoming group. The park is within walking distance to two lakes (Gull & June) and into town. We've stayed here before and sure miss the previous hosts. But the new hosts are very nice and helpful and seem to fit in with the regulars. They have cable & wi-fi but the wi-fi is very, very slow. The park is up for sale but if it's still open next summer, we'll be back. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great RV park located in June Lake. We've been coming here for years and believe it's the best park in the June Lake Loop. It's close to town and both Gull and June Lakes. They have an exceptional camp host who goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. He and his wife even host a monthly pancake breakfast and (with the help of a long-term camper) they cook for the entire campground. You can tell the long-term returnees really like each other and help to make the stay enjoyable for those of us who are only here for a short time. It really is a wonderful place to summer or just spend a few days to a few weeks. However, we've seen some disappointing changes this year. It appears as if the owners no longer care about their park. While hosts keep the bathrooms very clean, they've run out of supplies such as soap and toilet seat covers. Apparently the owner doesn't care enough to buy more. The other complaint we heard repeatedly from fellow campers (and ourselves) was how difficult it was to make a reservation. We'd call the office at different times of the day and it would go to the answering machine. Even though we'd leave messages, they weren't returned in a timely manner if at all. We got lucky and just kept calling and finally reached a real person. This is very frustrating when you're trying to plan a trip. When we finally spoke with the person in charge of making reservations, she was very rude. We heard this complaint from several of the campers. They have Wi-Fi but it's so bad you rarely can get online. Like I said, it's almost as if the owner and his office manager no longer care about this park. It is up for sale and maybe that's why. Hopefully someone will buy it and have the current camp host continue to run it so it'll get back to being an awesome place to stay. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Motorhome.

Internet is above the average in the area. Very good even for Skype. Cable TV didn't work. Very nice restroom though, very clean. Everyday you have nice smell awaiting in the bathroom from scented candles and the whole bathroom is heated! Take a stroll to June Lake and the lakes around. Best RV Park in the area. Spotless bathrooms and showers. Camp Host was very nice. The "regulars" we met were very nice. Sites are small, gravel, and not very level. Close to Gull Lake and plenty to do and see in the area. Rumor has it the owner plans to sell. Will be disappointing if they close. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very small and very tightly packed RV park. There are many staying here that apparently live here during the summer season. Upon arrival the host insisted that he guide me into my site. (This is something that I prefer to do on my own, but he insisted.) He proceeded to direct me into a tree resulting in minor damage to my travel trailer. No apology and not impressive! Again, this is a tightly packed park and is not conducive to easily parking a large rig. In fact, it is probably the worst I have seen. While the park is "pet friendly", not all pets are friendly; they don't seem fazed by pets off-leash and our own dog was attacked while on leash in our site by a neighbor's larger dog. It's proximity to Gull Lake makes it attractive to fisherman as evidenced by all the fishermen present in the camp waking and making a lot of noise before 6 am. Wi-Fi is almost nonexistent but I did receive a 3G signal. I would never return to this park! We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a small RV Park located right in the town of June Lake. It's the third RV park I have tried on the June Lake Loop (the other 2 were Silver Lake Resort and Pine Cliff Resort), and to be honest, I don't think any of them are great, although the area is awesome. You are pretty much parked side by side on a gravel lot, with some trees to provide shade. WiFi is advertised, but the signal was so weak that it was unusable. But the hosts were, without doubt, the nicest I have ever encountered! And the park has a very friendly vibe of mostly retired folks, so that might make it attractive for some people. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Motorhome.

There are several crotchety, bigoted and downright mean regulars here..it is like an old peoples home and the management caters to them hand and foot because they are such poor business people they need to keep every dime they get. They do not welcome newcomers. There are not many nice spots (maybe 5) otherwise you are cramped into less than 350 sq ft right up against your neighbors slide out just about. The office manager is real moody and just plain stupid listening to whatever her "regulars" say without any investigation on her part. My wife was deeply offended by there lack of helpfulness. I spent several nights at this park using it as a base to explore Mammoth and Mono Lakes plus the eastern portion of Yosemite. The park is located in a hollow below Highway 158. Be prepared to negotiate a short, but narrow and steep entry road when arriving and departing. As has been mentioned in previous reviews, the campground host made my visit to what is a nice, but ordinary park, a memorable event. He’s friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. We camped at Golden Pine RV Park in a Motorhome.
