Staff friendly!! Location is great!!! Can walk to Branson Landing shops and restaurants. Cable was very good. Full hookups easy to access. The negatives were how close you are to your neighbors. With both of us having slides out it was crowded. Picnic tables were pretty worn. The biggest negative were loud neighbors who were partying until 1:00 in the morning. Other campers yelling at them to quiet down. They refused. Too much of a negative and we didn't want a confrontation and left early and checked into another campground We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

A first-class RV park operation with a staff who knows what they are doing. We have stayed at other parks in the Branson area, further info town or up in the hills, but find this one can't be beat. Worth it to get a premium site to look out at Lake Taneycomo. Easy to get into town. Sites are very level. There is road noise from traffic going over the bridges, and boats going up and down the lake, and the tourist trains which go nearby, but we found it fine. Bike trails go right to the Branson Landing shopping center and Bass Pro Shops, so for biking, its great. Very nice and secure place to stay. There are no open fires allowed. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

They now charge for premium wifi and the free wifi is unusable. I did a speed test and the free wifi was .7 Mbps. Manager was very unfriendly when I checked in. You share your front yard with the RV next to you. Sites have 2 picnic tables but ours only had 1 picnic table. They said they would bring us another but never did. We have stayed here many times and this was the first time I had any complaints. Love the location, close to the Landing and on Lake Taneycomo. They do not allow late checkout so we paid for an additional night to stay an extra hour. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The shuttle is nice to go to a Bass Pro or downtown. But we got on it from stop 3 to come back to the RV park and it took an hour. We could have walked it in 10 minutes.

Highly suggest calling ahead for directions, as most GPS units will not get you there easily in an RV. We found these directions to work really well: Jct of Hwy 65 & Hwy 248 (Branson Landing Exit): Exit Branson Landing Blvd to circle, take 3rd exit, then stay in L lane (R lane ends) thru 3 traffic lights, then straight into park Note: Do not cross bridge & do not use GPS. The location is the best part of this campground. Easy to by-pass the traffic jams common to the Branson area. Excellent advice and tips provided by hosts in the office. Great access to Branson Landing and to sites such as School of the Ozarks, Top of the Rock, and the southern side of Table Rock Lake without ever having to deal with the heavy traffic in Branson proper or the "strip". We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Didn't know if we would be able to get into the park because they had experienced 4' flooding just a week before. They were still doing a lot of repairs when we arrived, but we were on the second row from the river and the water had receded a good bit. First night we got to experience how well built their bathhouse was as we gathered with others to wait out a storm! The next day we had to move to higher ground because they released water from the dam, but they were able to accommodate our group of 5 RVs. Convenient to everything, and a trolley came by every 20 mins until 6 pm. It was perfect for what we needed and our whole group had a great time. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hook-ups are bizarre. Septic, water and elect may be, but mostly are not, on the correct side. Site had 1-2 ft drop off 4 ft from door. Not safe. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

My second time here and I'll return. Great bang for the buck. We had premium site facing the lake. Just beautiful. They come collect the trash. I got a good satellite signal. Staff was friendly and most helpful. Wonderful location....you're not that far from the main strip and they have the bus that comes thru to take you downtown. The location is great - very convenient to downtown Branson and the free trolly picks you up right at the park (stop #1). The staff is WONDERFUL; the location and the staff is the reason for the good review score. The bathrooms are old and a bit smelly; although they are relatively clean. They only clean them twice a week and they are closed for 3 hrs (9-12). That laundry was overpriced but the worst part is when they decide to break they hold your clothes hostage! We wasted several hours trying to get our clothes from the washer (this was the most insane experience I've ever had) - they ultimately had to take a pry bar to the machine! The staff were AWESOME and did everything they could. The problem is it's a city owned park and the laundry machines are leased - so they couldn't get ahold of anyone for hours. The sites are also quite tight; we could not put our awning out all the way or we would have hit the motor home beside us. They escort you to your site - which is helpful if you come in at night (especially because of the big boulders at the end of many of the sites). We watched someone crunch their backend trying to get out of there one morning. The Wifi was great - one of the best connections we've ever had in fact. The picnic tables are pretty old but we really couldn't sit outside anyway because it was too tight. There were other sites where you could sit outside comfortably though. They were pretty full so we are glad they were able to accommodate us. The interior roads are a bit tight but manageable. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Take the free trolly and be sure to check with the office for discounted tickets or just great ideas on where to eat or what to do. They recommended two restaurants that we loved - both family owned and in old downtown. Honestly if it wasn't for the wonderful staff we probably would not recommend this place.

A wonderful location and the premium spots look out at the water of Lake Taneycomo. We had stayed closer to the theater district in the past, but had not views, were frustrated with the up and down hills and unable to get satellite reception because of all the trees. We were so glad we spent a week here this year. So much to see and also great for biking with all the level areas. You can even bike down the river. When we wanted to stay an extra day, the staff did everything they could to accommodate us and although we had to move a little, we still had a great site. We noticed it's a little more crowded in the interior rows but the place was almost sold out every day. Very popular, and there are docks where you can go out and relax and a nearby marina.

The trains go around the park several times a day but don't blow the whistle nearby and are fun to watch. (2 freight trains a day, and the Scenic train goes by lots.) We would never stay at Branson again, unless we could get a space here.

One slight downside, over which the park has no control. The edge of the lake is city property and a number of fisherman will park along the lake while they fish, blocking some of your view of the water, but the view is still better than other parks we have stayed at. No rugs were allowed on the grass, as it killed the grass and they re-sod it. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you have your mail forwarded, the main Post Office on commercial street is minutes away. Experiment with the various routes that the city of Branson has, Red, Yellow, Blue, to save time and avoid some of the long backups going into the theater area.

There are a total of 159 attractions in Branson, and almost 120 live shows. We always catch Presley's Country Jubilee, the Duttons, Rick Thomas the magician.

Very good campground right on the lake and next to downtown and Branson Landing. Free shuttle stop also. Level concrete pull thru and back-in 30/50 amp full h/up sites. Cable is very good and wifi is EXCELLENT! Marina on the lake inside park with boat rentals, fishing licenses etc. There are 3 levels of sites. the premium and super premium (lakeside) are pull thru with much more room. Must use your own fire pits. Would stay here anytime. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very busy park near downtown. Be sure to use directions on the website. There are 4 docks and marina very near by on Lake Tanneycomo. You can walk to Branson Landing. But there is a bus shuttle to town and many stops along the way. Parking in sites were pull in from one road and neighbor pull in from the other road. So we shared utilities and common areas with awnings and slides just almost touching. Weren't able to open shades on either side due to closeness of neighbors. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed in Branson for our annual Army reunion for 13 years. 2015 we stayed in another park as this one said they were full up. Back in 2016 and things have degraded. The regular rate is excessive for what you get. The upgrades add nothing except a different location. We found the Wi-Fi as being poor and now they charge a $4.95 fee for premium. Why would a campground offer poor Wi-Fi and then add $4.95 daily for adequate Wi-Fi? The regular sites are crammed in and some will not allow you to open your awnings completely. Many utilities are in the wrong place and sewer is often near your front door. Parking often restricts the road width. Premium is slightly better and "Super Sites" can be nearly as bad. With them your door opens opposite your neighbors. Distance between the opposite side of your and your neighbors rig is very close. Cable has been below average at the last site we stayed and when making reservations we ask for the Super Sites when traveling with friends and always received them. We are now routinely told that they are booked but when staying there we always see some open sites. Cancellations (?) or desire not to give them to people not traveling with another couples? Very little grass but Super Sites have level concrete pads. Not pet friendly although they will offer a treat to pets when checking in. Areas around your camper is small and many walk their pets on the gravel road. They do have a pet area with grass but on the opposite end of the campground and a long walk for small pets. It has become increasingly difficult to exit this park since the new bridge has been completed and traffic is much heavier. A right hand turn to exit is not recommended because of the exit incline and narrow road and traffic. Staff is very friendly but that does not overcome the issues. I will stay at other parks for less money, more space and less frustration. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great location for a stay in Branson--located just south of Branson Landing with a trolley stop in the park that takes visitors throughout old Branson and to Branson Landing for free. Right on Lake Taneycomo--nearly under the bridge to Hollister. We had a lakeside site with one small shade tree on our site. Not much grass. RVs are close together--but we had full hook-ups and a great view of the lake. Nice dog park. Hard surfaced roads through the campground. Helpful campground hosts. Sites further from the lake had lots of shade. Not a campground with lots of space to relax, but serves the visitor to Branson very well. Also provides a nearby boat dock, walking and bike trails and the Bass Pro shop is only a couple blocks away. Relatively quiet at night even though it was so close to Branson Landing and a busy road. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
