We arrived after heavy rain so will allow for that but the park needs repair to stop the enormous puddles ruts and mud, we couldn't see what we were putting our trailer supports into. Restrooms and showers were very clean but old. We know a lot of Rvers like trees for shade but sometimes less is more ! Good cable TV. Wifi was a bit iffy. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

A campground that would probably be a very pleasant stay except for the location - right next to an off-ramp from the interstate. The good news is there aren't a lot of trucks taking the ramp and using their jakes to slow down. It is however a pretty much constant flow of trucks (less on the overnight) and the corresponding noise is noticeable even in the back of the campground with the windows all closed. Asphalt entry road with a u-turn for those coming from the US 83 exit - big rigs will need the entire width to make the turn. Interior access roads and the sites are gravel. Access roads are just a bit over a single lane. Sites are somewhat close together and mostly level. Sites barely long enough for a 44' with toad (we had to disconnect, but only because we have an additional 4 ft or so off the back of the toad for a bike rack). Grass and a picnic table between the sites and lots of trees around the campground. Site selection is pretty much a free for all when arriving before 4pm so reserving a specific site (e.g. to ensure satellite access) is problematic. Depending upon the row, departure is either a straight shot back out to the main road or a return through the main entry road including the u-turn. Power ok, water low (40psi static, 30psi flowing), sewer not threaded (needs donut for seal). Campground wifi good signal and good speed (except of course in the early to mid-evening when it gets rather sluggish); Verizon 4 bars with good speed (again except for the evenings); no TMobile service. Satellite access is highly dependent upon the site. No recycling on site and no obvious road bike riding. We might stay here again, but would probably look for something further away from the highway unless it was just an overnight stop. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

A good place for an overnight stay. Campground is easy on/off from I -80. There is highway noise, but not a problem inside camper. Our campsite was a level pull thru. Office stays open late, which was helpful to us on our arrival. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice shady park. Two playgrounds, one fenced next to pool. Plenty of trash containers sccattered thru park. Didn't allow Passport Am on weekends or would have rated higher. Pull thru sites long to accommodate tow. Some grass around gravel site. Well kept grounds. Would return. Easy on/off. Exit 177 from I-80. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Looked like a cute 50s diner (silver bullet) next door and also a steakhouse. Didn't get to try but will next trip.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Easy on/off I80. Showers and laundry was good. Cable was good with 60 channels. Wifi worked great at site. Great to be able to wash camper and truck since we stayed a week. Dog run was good to walk dog. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Walmart and restaurants were less than a mile. World's largest rail yard was 6 miles and worth a visit. Fort Cody Trading Post was 5 minutes and free.

Stayed for 1 night in our 40' MH with tow car. Site was barely large enough to hold us. Sites are gravel with some bad grass and not very level. For an overnight stay this would work but would not spend more time. Wifi and cable worked fine. Easy access from freeway but you also hear some of the road noise. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

15% discount given for cash payment. Sites are gravel, level, with grass between sites. Most sites are pull throughs. Enough mature trees provide shade. Bathrooms/showers are older but in good repair and very clean. Shower stalls and dressing area are both tiny. They could combine the several of the multiple stalls so there would be more room. Two sewer hookups at each site so they are convenient for any rig. Other hookups were also good. Cable TV with 60 channels. Easy access to and from I-80. Some road noise, but not that noticeable after dark. Several restaurants on the access road to the park. Great place to stop if passing through. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice park. Space was large enough for our 34' motor home & tow vehicle. Our space was level. The roads were wide & easy to maneuver through. The map we received at check in was very detailed & there are signs all through the park. The staff was very friendly. We received a Good Sam discount & an additional 5% for payment in cash. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

We used Holiday RV Park for its location during the solar eclipse of 2017. At $36 per night, this was a bargain! Holiday is located right off of I-80 in an industrial/commercial zone. Some traffic noise is unavoidable if you are in the sites closest to the office. Sites in the back are quieter and there is no noise from nearby campers. Interior roads are easy to navigate. Sites are all partially shaded. Most are pull-throughs as the back-in sites are occupied mostly by the seasonal campers. Our pull-through was bang-on level and plenty long for our trailer and tow vehicle. Utilities in good condition and logically placed. Park management requests that you do not shut off their power breakers. WiFi good but slow. Camp store has some groceries and supplies but souvenir items dominate the inventory. Office staff very personable and efficient. Nice pool and play area for young children. Lavatory and shower facilities clean and in good condition but could benefit from some maintenance. Open fires are not permitted here due to city ordinance. I will suggest using a volt meter or some other device to keep an eye on voltage during periods of peak demand. Voltage varied from 107 to 119 volts on the day of our arrival - it was hot and humid. On check-in we were given a 15%-off coupon for a future stay - no expiration date! We would stay here again. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

West-bound travelers on I-80 can get to Holiday RV Park by getting off at Exit 179; turn right as you exit the off ramp and the first left turn is Halligan Drive. Campground will be just over a mile down Halligan Drive on your right. Even if you have only a moderate interest in trains, pay a visit to Golden Spike Tower to view the Bailey Yard of the Union Pacific Railroad. Plenty of things to do in North Platte and lots of places for dining out, getting groceries, supplies, or fuel.

Second time we have stayed at this park. It's located between a hotel and businesses. Good roads in, and easy access to park. Site was a pull thru, gravel, in the last row by the fence. Site was longer and wider than previous site that was located under the trees. This last row was less wooded. Close to level and long enough to fit motor home and tow. Our site didn't have satellite reception but their cable worked fine. Free Wi-Fi worked good during the day, slower at night. There is a small store with souvenirs and snacks. We paid with cash, and receive a discount on top of our Good Sam - total off 15%. There is a pool, and a playground. Close to highway, therefore you can hear traffic from I-80. No dog park, and the only designated dog area was up front on busy road and I-80. Park appears older but maintained. This park is located near the Platte rivers as well as close to museums and historical attractions. Also located within walking distance is a diner. We only stay a night as we were traveling thru. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

We did unhook and drive to the local park (Cody Park) for a walk. No trails, but walked on roads. There is a "zoo" and a few amusements for small children. Lots of green space.
