Lots of shade trees and room for larger rigs. Sites are a bit close but not a problem. Friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend this park, and would stay here again. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed) in a Travel Trailer.

Check-in was quick, professional and friendly. Were led to our site and assistance was offered to help us set-up. Site was level and hook-ups were properly located. Had mature trees providing shade and grass strips on both sides of site. Overall a very nice RV park. WIFI was adequate and utilities were good. We liked this park so well we came back after spending the day in Arches National Park. The park entrance was only about a mile from the RV park. Sorry to hear that the park is being replaced by a hotel according to another reviewer. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed) in a Truck Camper.

As others have said, this park may not be open too much longer. As long as it is, it is ideally located to access the main entrance to Arches National Park and Moab. Most sites are shaded by big trees, which is nice in the summer. The park is well maintained and quiet even though it is right off the main highway into Moab. It is adjacent to the river and a canal. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed) in a Travel Trailer.

this is a beautiful and clean park. we were sad to learn that after this year it is supposed to close, due to a hotel being built on the site. the owners were great and they were very helpful and friendly. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed) in a Travel Trailer.

Glad we picked this park after seeing the others in Moab as we passed through! Big mature trees and good level spots each with a strip of grass and a picnic table and grill. Spacing was a little close together, but not unreasonable. Very convenient to the entrance to Arches, but you'll need to drive to get to town. Loved the trash pickup! Just leave your trash bag by the road and it disappears. Staff was friendly and helpful. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed) in a Motorhome.

Really a nice park. Water and electric it good. Pretty quiet unless you get some noise from jeeps next to you. WiFi is poor. You have grass. Lots of trees so if you have a mounted antenna it will not work but the cable words well. Great location to see everything in the area. The man working the park is great and helpful but overworked. It is very central to all the area parks and places to visit. The lots are quite level. The only downside again is that the owners have decided to build another motel on the lots so will be either moving the rv park or closing it for the motel. I would say if you want to go there this year you need to book well in advance to get a spot. It is really a small park but nice. A very nice park that will not exist in 2015 as Marriot is building a resort on the site. Access was a bit tough as the access roads were narrow. The river was nice. The spaces were nice. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, they charged $5 per pet to encourage people to pick up after their pets. This is outrageous. I also believe it would encourage folks to not pick up after their pets since they "paid" to have it done for them. Excellent location near the entrance to Arches National Park. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed) in a Fifth Wheel.

The good: It's close to Arches and Canyonlands Parks. The trees in the park are large, mature trees that give a lot of needed shade in the summer. The bathrooms and showers are clean. The bad: The Rules! There are a ton of RULES. No mats on the "grass" (dirt patches really). You can't fill your fresh tank with their water. There are others, but I can't remember them right now. The back in sites have BBQ grills. The pull through sites don't. But they don't allow you to put a portable stove on the picnic tables. When I asked where I should put my stove, after being chased away from setting it on the BBQ at an open campsite, I was told to put it on the gravel ground at our site. That might be reasonable for a flexible 20 year old, but not for this stiff 50-something. Which leads me to another downside: the obnoxious staff. Normally I get along with everyone, but the host (owner?) was so obnoxious that I couldn't deal with him. After we left here, we did a quick tour of the town of Moab. This place probably had the best sites, given their location and the shade trees. But even with that, I would not stay here again. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed) in a Motorhome.

Close to Arches National Park. Not far from Moab center. Shade trees. Real grass between sites. That is the good news. Staff is not friendly. Sites are cramped together. No pool and it gets hot here in summer. Laundry closes at 6PM. No dog park. Colorado river is not accessible . If you decide to check out early they will not give refunds. I would not recommend this park for a stay more than a couple of days. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed) in a Motorhome.

Not enough toilets. 55 camping sites and only 3 men's toilets (no urinals). Wife says only 4 women's toilets. The RV sites are very, very small. They tell you that you are getting site that backs on to the river, but an 8 foot berm of dirt is what you back on to. Very close to Arches NP entry. Clean and well maintained. Nice shady sites with lots of cable channels so you don't mind not getting satellite TV! Rather close together and price on the high side, but this is a tourist-town and summertime, so we're not unhappy. An initial refusal to honor Good Sam membership for our July 7-11 stay ("holiday weekend,") was quickly amended when we pointed out 3 of the 4 nights were NOT in their "blackout period," but it doesn't seem they should be able to EVER black out Good Sam discounts without advising us ahead of time. That said, we're enjoying our stay here and are glad to be at the northern-most edge of the area and closest to Arches and Canyonlands. VERY difficult to find right now as they're doing construction directly south of the RV park and signage is awful; none ahead of time and the billboard directly by exit is poorly colored and faded. We camped at Riverside Oasis Campground & RV Park (closed) in a Motorhome.

I am giving this park a generous 5 because it is pretty. That's about it. The few amenities they have are practically useless; no laundry after 6pm, moderately fuzzy cable (changed out cable wire and it didn't improve). Cranky check-in host; I'm sitting here reading all the rules in red capital letters thinking for crying out loud, I'm on vacation here! The road construction is finished, but they are moving dirt on a hotel right in the front yard of the park. Rumors that this park's days are numbered. There are too many other campgrounds in MOAB. This one doesn't even have a pool OR a playground, plus they nickel and dime for each person. Would not stay again if in the area. Site had a gravel driveway, picnic table and grass. Lots of shade trees which is very important when the temps reach 100 degrees. Strong Wifi signal at site. Staff was friendly and escorted you to your site. Only negative was the construction next store which created a lot of noise and dust in the campground We camped here in a motor home and would stay here if in the Moab area again. After reading reviews of Moab parks, they all seemed to be expensive and cramped, so we started off giving this one a 7 for being very convenient to town and Arches and only $34! (Still cramped). That said, it is located right by two bridges on US 191 over the Colorado River and they were doing construction. The noise was unbearable during the day. So night-time traffic didn't seem so bad, but it is considerable. Wi-Fi was great one day but non-existent the next. Moab was overrun with tourists.
