WE WILL BE GOING TO LAJITAS RV RESORT THIS WEEKEND 3/14/2010. WHEN ADDING THE ADDRESS INTO MY GPS I CAME UP EMPTY.
HAS ANYONE BEEN TO THIS PLACE? I HAVE A 40' MOTORHOME IS THE ROAD WIDE ENOUGH FOR A MOTORHOME?
WE ARE GOING TO SEE BIG BENT. THE WEB SITE LOOKS LIKE A NICE PLACE BUT I AM A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT NOT GETTING DIRECTIONS TO LAJITAS, TX.

Hi L7L,
Try these coordinates for you gps: 29.258744,-103.773658
I've never been anywhere close to that area, but from what I can see on Google maps there should be no problem driving there. They are on FM road 170, FM means farm to market, so it must be big enough for trucks to go through. If a truck can go through, you should be able to get through.

Is this where you're staying?

FM170 is a good paved road. You won't have any problems with it.
If you go to the second website and click on "View on Map" then click on "Satellite" you can see the campground.
GPS coords are:
29.24049
-103.60937

we didn't stay there, we stayed nearby in Study-Butte, but we drove by that place- the roads are fine....but there are some really steep grades on the Farm To Market Rd. mostly west of Lajitas.
