Well, after nearly 5 months, I have brought the RV over from storage, done some repair (rewired 3 lighting fixtures, replaced engine battery, had the exterior washed, cleaned every sq inch, had the brakes checked, checked the tires, greased everything, and other assorted stuff). We are planning on making a short trip very soon. Hopefully it will work out well. I had a very hard time and had to go back into the hospital, but am doing well now. I have lost over 50 pounds and doing a cardiac rehab program 3 days a week. There is life after open heart surgery. We hope to go to a great campground we have used many times before only 70 miles away.

I think overdoing it was what caused my relapse and second trip to the hospital. I lost about 2 1/2 months by having to start over. Getting the oil changed early next week and will be ready to go. Fortunately I married an angel that has help me tremendously.

We are now in the third day of our 2 day test trip. It was going so well, we decided to stay another day. We are taking it real easy and watching what we eat (the hard part). But they sure are good.

I did pretty good on the food end of things. No fries. We ate mainly fish. We decided before we left that we would eat out all the time. Today is actually our anniversary (46 years). Who would have thought that all of this would have happened just because I call than number written on the wall down at the bus station (For a good time, call Nancy at -------).
