Webmaster, you might want to post a note for the Ft. Pickens campground on Santa Rosa Island in Florida. The storm surge from Hurricane Ivan wiped out road access to the entire campground/historical area cutting the island in half and though I have no direct information, aerial pictures show dramatic destruction to the area of the campground. No telling how long it will be closed or if/when it will be rebuilt.
 So sad. |
