Thank you and may I take this opportunity to wish you a very happy Columbus Day holiday.

The wife and I are looking forward to visiting the US next year for more wonderful vacations.

I hosted this summer at a park in NE North Dakota and the park had 60% Canadians at any one time, mostly from Manitoba. I had hoped to make a small trip to Manitoba just to say, "I was there" but the Canadians told me about the fruit and veggie issue at the border crossing so I didn't go. But the Canadians gave me a lot of wonderful fruits and veggies that they couldn't take back.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I can't say that I have ever been asked to declare what food stuff we are bring back with us. I know there are restrictions bringing food into the US but, as it is significantly cheaper for me to shop south of the border, I tend to head straight for the nearest Costco anyway. With that said, here is a link you may find useful if you do fancy a trip north of the 49th.
