Hello,
Looking for beach camping in FL. Either coast is fine. We have enjoyed the Red Coconut in Ft Myers Beach and also Beverly Beach Camptown in Flagler. Any others out there? Thanks, Mary 37'Winnebago |

If you would want to go in the panhandle, near Pensacola is Fort Pickens, it is a National park and a very nice campground. We stayed there for 5 nights last fall and can't wait to go back. You can walk to the beach on both sides of the island, also there is alot to do in the Pensacola area, we went to the Naval Aviation Museum, saw the Blue Angels, went to a dolphin show. The beach was great too, all white sand and beautiful.

Thank you for your suggestion! I just booked a place yesterday in the panhandle, LOL. We will be staying in Navarre, FL at the Emerald Beach RV Park.
Has anyone from this forum stayed here before? Thanks, Mary |

Mary, we've stayed at Emerald Beach RV Park in Navarre on two occasions, and we loved it both times. Try to get one of the spaces along the beachfront--I think there are five or six of them. If you get one of these spaces and you have a fifth wheeler or travel trailer, you're okay but, if you have a motorhome, you should plan on getting longer sewer hoses, water hoses, and electric cords since you will want to drive in instead of backing in so you can enjoy the view.
