My wife and I are replacing the carpet in the front 2/3 of our class A Bounder and are trying to decide if we should install the laminate traditional (front-to-back configuration) or diagonal as the installer suggests is becoming popular.

Any pros, cons, suggestions, or personal experience prior to July 24th would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I know this thread is a little old, but I was recently searching for a similar answer and couldn't find it. I now feel like I can contribute a valuable answer for other people searching.
Some neighbors were talking about Floors to Your Home and that's what got us thinking about replacing our own floors. The side by side pattern is very much easier in an RV then the front/back pattern. Diagonal will also work, but I was most pleased with the side by side results. It is all about person choice though.

How did you deal with the joint where the slide meets the other floor? Is there a bump at that spot? Do you have any pictures you could share?
