Goin to Port Arthur Texas to visit friends, never been to Texas but lookin forward to it. The only thing from the reviews it doesnt sound like the parks are very good. Can anyone suggest a reasonable park to stay, do need wifi, (for my MJ LOL) within a 50 mile radius would work, gulf would be good
Any other advise is also appreciated
Thank you in advance

We have only stayed at one park in that area, and even then it was for only one night at a time (about 8 times total) because we were just passing through. Anyway the place is Gulf Coast RV Resort listed under Beaumont. Most of its reviews are good, and we have always been very comfortable there. Management has always been nice and friendly. Very nice pool. It is more of an RV park than a campground, and the sites are closer than I like, but still a good place. It is not too far off I-10, but we have never noticed any highway noise. It is out on the west side of Beaumont, but still reasonably close to stores and restaurants. It is not on the gulf, but is about 30 mi away. One area of the park seems to be more long term residents (but nicely kept) while another area seems to be for short term/overnighters. I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but it suited us just fine. Let me know if you have any other questions.
