Post Office Problems, Post Office problems Options

It is possible to go on line and have your mail held at the post office for up to 30 days. The procedure is fairly simple. We usually do it when we go on a trip of less than a month, we utilize this. I have had good service for years, but recently, my request has not been received. I carefully check it all out prior to sending it in. We got home yesterday and I went down to the post office to get my mail and they had none. We ended up with a full mailbox when we got home. This has recently happened also and I was just wondering if anybody else has had problems. I guess i will have to go down to the post office and do it there. When we go for more than a month, we have it forwarded to our daughter's house and that must be done at the post office.
