I am about to buy a new tow vehicle and I will have to swap my brake controller, is this something I can do myself or should I take it to my RV dealer? I saw it being changed on a T.V. show and it seemed pretty simple, any input would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help. I bought a chevy Silverado, it has the tow package it has a plug in spot for the trailer brakes so I will try it.
