Is there a way to make corrections to the CG info?
I see where the check list says a CG is big rig access, then I go to their web site and it says max 38 feet. I know I have to do my own research but would help if there was a way to correct this when it is found. |

Don is absolutely correct about perspective because there are more criteria than just site length that makes a park big rig friendly. There needs to be easy access to sites. Roads need to be wide and include good turning radius. Light poles, trees, rocks, and other landscaping must be placed so they do not impede turning. The roads and sites need to be free from overhanging tree branches. The sites must be wide enough to accommodate multiple slides and have at least 50amp or more power.
Our coach is a little short of 40 feet, and yet we consider it a big rig because we have multiple slides and need 50 amps. We would probably just fit into a 38 foot space if it had the other characteristics. If the sites at the park you are referring to only goes up to 38 feet it probably should not be listed as big rig friendly, However, I can see that if it can accommodate larger rigs in all other ways, it could be considered ok (just barely) for big rigs. |
