Can anyone tell me the best truckstops and/or Walmarts on I-79 and I-77 from Erie Pa to South Carolina to overnight in? Heading towards Myrtle Beach and points south for the winter.

We haven't taken that route, since it's way west of us, so I don't really know if there are any good truck stops.
Here's a link to a web site of Wal-Marts where you CANNOT WallyDock, in case that might help you eliminate some. I'm not sure how accurate or up-to-date this list is though: http://walmartatlas.com/no-park-walmarts -------------------- It's always the batteries!

Hi Jim,
You may find this site useful for finding good places to stay. Some are free. Some are up to $12.00. http://freecampsites.net/ -------------------- Regards,
