Hi Sam --
It was difficult to figure out how to reply here, sorry for duplicates.
We had our Smokey in at Bill Clemmon's RV, where we purchased it and the replaced the room bottom seal and adjusted the room heighth. We still had some leakage so I called Sunray and asked if they used struts to keep the room in place while traveling and they said "NO". I bought 2 struts and installed them and the water stopped coming in while traveling. I may get 2 more before the 2008 season for the bottom ends of the room. They go for around $40.00 each but if it works, it is worth it.
Other than above, we had a slight leak at the bathroom skylight above the tub. It was resealed and that stopped that problem.
With your room closed, the long bottom seal should be flat against the room, not turned up and in. That was how it was when it leaked while driving in the rain. The tires just threw the water up and into the rug area. Also check the ends, we had extra seal pieces installed at the ends.
I hope this helps. You can call me if you like at 336-837-9763
