My wife and I would like to camp and kayak in Wisconsin. We prefer full hookups for camping and idle zones for kayaking. We aren't whitewater paddlers, just slow lazy sightseers. If anyone has any suggestions for great places the middle of August, please let us know.

Try Apostle Islands Campground in Bayfield, WI. Kayak around Lake Superior on a calm day, there are caves you can explore, but you might want to do that with a tour guide.

Speaking of WI, I'll be headed over there from MN in a few days. What else is there to do in the top part of the state?
