DH and I are thinking of buying an RV site at one of the Outdoor Resorts Campgrounds. Does anyone have any thoughts about ownership? The site can be rented in our absence and at the resort that we are looking at the price of the site has doubled in the last 4 years.

We have thought about it a couple times. The thing that stops us is going back to the same area every year. Be careful of the maintenance expenses. I have hear of some that were way out of line.

SOmeone I knew that bought one regretted it later. Do you get to have your OWN RV on it, or is it "Park Models?"

Are they like a timeshare or do you actually own the site.

My wife and I are looking at a place oustisde Palm Springs where you actually own a deeded piece of property inside the resort.
