We will be traveling to Port Aransas TX in a couple of weeks and would like recommendations on where to stay. We stayed at "RV on the Beach" recently and while it was nice, the sites were very close to on another. It was only my husband and I at the time but our next trip will include 6 adults. We'd like something close to the beach in Port A. We need a park with full hook up sites and waling distance to the beach would work best.

Can anyone offer suggestions?

Pioneer Beach Resort is a good place to stay. It, and about 8 others, are listed under Port Aransas on this website. Their reviews will give you lots of information. Have a good trip.

Try Gulf Waters RV Resort. It is a "condo" type park and the sites are open for rental when the owners are not there. We visited there when we were in Port Aransas last winter and will probably stay there the next time we are in the area. The web site is below.
