I'd love some personal input (have read the reviews) for a place for us to stay a week (first week of March) that would be near some wildlife areas. I love photography so would like to be near places to see the various birds, etc. We need W/S/E so that left Goose Island out as a place to stay. We have a 40 motorhome. We'll be arriving from Austin, so would prefer something easy to access from there.

All three are on Bentsen Palm Drive in Mission TX. We are currently at Bentsen Grove and it certainly has room for big rigs. So do the other two.

We are right down the road From Goose Island at Hidden Oaks RV and it has W/S/E in a nice setting with large sites. Instead of turning right to get to Gooses Island go left about 1/2 mile or so. It's on the right. I have a review here under Rockport.
