Where are parks close to DC listed?
Try College Park, Maryland. When that listing comes up look on the right side of the screen and there will be a list of other towns in the area. You can also use the "Campground Search" (see above on the menu bar) and again choose Maryland and College Park. This search lets you put in the particulars that you want the park to have.

Cherry Hill RV Park in College Park is the closest to DC, but it is not always to everyone's liking because it is in the middle of an urban area. There are several other parks a little farther out to choose from. The first list I mentioned should help.

There's Bull Run Regional Park in Centerville VA, about 15 Miles from the metro station.

Campground has lots of space between don't feel squeezed in, very wooded, no alcohol allowed, family orientated and very cool water park at the campground.

There is a national park near college station. Greenbelt National park. No hook ups but it's handy to the metro and cheap. Especially if you have the golden age passport. We camped there for a few days in a 38foot 5th wheel.
[color=#336666]WE have stayed at Cherry Hill twice, were from CA, great park. Even have free classes on how to see DC. Tour bus service come right inside the park. There is also City (??) bus service that takes you to the Metro Station. Remember this is a RV park in a Metro area. Chain food store and such not more than a mile away from the front gate. wink.gif
