Hi all,

430 lumens! That's way brighter than an 1156 2 amp!

we actually prefer those that mimic incandescent bulbs, so we get ours from superbriteleds.com
- my husband always wants LED and I always want lights that look "normal" and these do....

Hi Sue,

Do you have a particular one that you use? May I ask you for a link?

sorry for the delay in responding!

here is the link to the LEDs we bought and are VERY happy with.

superbrite LEDS

WLED Miniature Wedge Base Bulbs
T3-1/4 (#194/168) miniature wedge base bulbs found in various low voltage applications. Built in current limiting resistor and diode to protect the LED from reversed polarity installation
Replaces: 194, 158, 168, 12256, 12961
See Complete Selection of Miniature Wedge Base bulbs

WLED-WHP10-D
10 High Power LEDs, 120 degree beam
Available in Cool White - 111 lumen @ 7000K
Warm White - 98 lumen @ 3100K

We bought the warm whites as they look like what we had. The cool whites are very white light so we used some for over the sink/stove light.

Hi Sue,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I've ordered an led from Ebay and will try to report on it after I've used it for a while.
