Have heard such mixed reactions over the years to just about all of these ventures. When we were newbies to full timing, we sat in on more than a couple sales presentations in exchange for couple free nights at some beautiful locations. More than once we were approached outside the gates as we were leaving the next day, by folks who were agressively trying to sell their own memberships. Some at a fraction of what they had originally paid. That was all I needed to confirm I'd never purchase one.
