Help! I think I'm going CRAZY!

Last summer my family decided to buy a popup and go camping for the first time. We ended up falling in love with the whole concept and were able to take two weeklong trips and several shorter trips. As the weather begins to warm up here on the east coast, all we can talk about is camping. I'm even starting to DREAM about camping!

I found out yesterday that a group from my church plan on going camping later this month. Unfortunately, my best friend's daughter is getting married on that same weekend. My husband would like to send a gift and our regards and although I am tempted, I can't. Afterall, she is my best friend . . . I've watched her child grow into a young woman . . . not to mention that her daughter is currently our baby-sitter.

I can't help but wonder if I was bitten by a camping bug last summer.

Will the thrill of camping eventually wear off?

The old me would have NEVER considered ditching a previous engagement.
OK, I would like to know how many of you have ever skipped out on something just so you can go camping?
