We are considering buying a new travel trailer at the end of this season. We are looking for a free site that will give us ratings on various makes of trailers. We currently have a Terry made by Fleetwood. It seems to be sloppily put together although it has served its purpose. There must be some better constructed than others so I guess that's what we are looking for. Any suggestions?

I know of no free site or service that will do what you want.

We have used the RV Consumer Group when we were considering buying a new fifth wheel and again before we bought a new motor home. Their reviews are based almost exclusively on information provided by the manufacturers, but provide a good source for comparing brands. We found them very useful in ruling out specific brands and models of RVs. Take a look at the sample reports on their web site.

Everybody wants this kind of information for free, but I think it's worth spending $139 to avoid a $30,000 mistake.

If you figure it out post it...we just bought a Travel Trailer and couldn't find any info on it. It's like a big secret. We had a very hard time figuring how much weight our truck could pull. No good info available.
