We woulld like to know if any one did go to Arkansas Diamond state park . I would like to park near, well maybe 1-2 mile distance. There is lot of RV pars but most are so far away.

Did you look at Murfreesbore AR? That is the Arkansas Diamond State Park. We have a lot of reviews on file to look at.

We went to Crater of Diamonds State Park last summer. We stayed at Lake Catherine, which was about an hour away. I know Crater of Diamonds had a campground but we did not go in. Have fun searching for diamonds - our 10 year old had so much fun digging in the dirt. I hope it is cooler when you visit - it was 110 degrees the day we visited in mid-June.

Crater of the Diamonds sure is a cash cow for the park. The wife wanted to go there. Didn't find a thing.
