It has come to my attention that everyone thinks my favorite campground in Cherokee, NC is closed. Happy Holiday Campground is now Happy Holiday RV Village and is OPEN not closed. I camped their last week and my favorite site is still available. We do not like the other campgrounds in Cherokee because they are either on a hill or too hard to reach in our 40' motor home. Happy Holiday is easy to reach, close to the casino and has big pool thrus and lots of 50 amp site at no extra cost. I am so very happy they are not closed and I hope this helps spread the word

Thank you for this information. Their website does say that the park has closed, but we will try to verify what is correct and make changes to their listing if needed.

I just posted a review of this lovely park. FYI, their listing still shows the park as closed. It most definitely is open and in our opinion the only choice while staying in the Cherokee area.
