I've read some very favorable reviews about Rockport,Tx.I'd like to spend some time in the future and enjoy it fully.Does anyone have recommendations that I can use considering
hiking and an RV park nearby?Many thanks in advance for your input.vagabond.

I can't think of any hiking trails off hand. There is the beach and we stay out on the Lamar Pinnensula and walk the roads. The road along the bay isn't a bad walk. There is Goose Island State Park and the Aransas Wildlife Refuge but that is about 50 or so miles.
