Anyone else having issues with any of the Equity Lifestyle Properties, Thousand Trails, Encore RV parks? My membership is at the Rondout Valley Resorts in Accord NY and has gone way down hill after Thousand trails was purchased by Equity Life Style Properties (ELS) It is so bad that many members have not paid maintenance fees because no or little maintenance is being done. I even made a complaint with the better business bureau and ELS was non responsive and ELS also has an F rating. Things have gotten so bad the members started a facebook page.

They appear to be struggling, as indicated by: 1. $499 yearly membership to anyone ($249 for a tent camping membership), 2. Open to anyone to camp for a nightly fee, 3. Yearly site rentals, usually take up the best spots (and allowing people to build sheds, deck, look junky, etc), 4. CG not open as much as in previous years, 5. Maintenance not as good, 6. Raise my dues 10% every year since 2008 (Now $521), 6. Open to Passport America 1/2 price camping (though limited times)

Partly the economy, but mainly poor management in my opinion.
