I am pulling a 27' travel trailer with an Avalanche. What would it be like to pull the travel trailer in the Blue Ridge Parkway? Would I be better off to park it at a campground and drive it without pulling the trailer?

Several years ago we did the Blue Ridge from Ashville to the end in VA pulling a 38 foot 5er with no problems. We didn't start in Cherokee NC due to a low tunnel between Cherokee and Ashville.

Several years ago, we drove the Parkway from beginning to end pulling a 23 foot Award with our Nissan Pathfinder (6 cylinders). We didn't have any problems. There really aren't any prolonged, steep, climbs. It's a beautiful drive.
