Looking for a campground to stay at while i spend a week near Pittsburg PA for work. Will be travelling with our 3 kids 16,13,9 and a travel trailer. thanks for any suggestions. would prefer a place with a clean pool

We stayed at KOA in Washington, Pa. Very safe area. A lot of contractors in the park, but very good people. Long term and clean. Winding road to reach the park. The hill in the park requires 4 WD or KEEP MOVING.

They have a nice pool and the wife and children will be pleased. Not a cheap park, but near restaurants, casino, shopping, etc.

The area is VERY LIMITED in RV Parks.

For the purpose of staying within an hour of the Pittsburgh Airport, PIT, we chose Indian Brave Campground, Harmony PA. We were one night and did not detach the camper. We rated the campground. It is close to groceries and fast food and primarily work and seasonal campers. Be choosy about your campsite - width is a limitation - the pool is clean but the bathhouse not.

Thanks - Since i will be reporting for work in Imperial PA i chose Austin Lake Campground - looks like good reviews from up to last year - anyone here stay there this year by chance? We will be in lot 32 (red carpet) - looks promising.
