Is it ok to use foil insulation on windows such as this [Double Bubble Foil
to keep heat out of the rv? Thanks for any suggestions.

We used it on our windows in our bus and also put some up in the vents. We didn't tape those in so that they could be removed when we wanted to open the vents.

Did you use velcro for your window coverings?

No, we were remodeling our bus while living in it so we just used tape to hold the foil in. We probably would have used stick on velcro if we had gotten to the point of finishing the bus.

We use bubble foil on the windows in our trailer on the side where the sun shines in the most. Just use it for in the fall and spring at our winter jobs. Use duct tape to keep it in place. Have one vent we never use. Have insulation up in it and bubble foil over it. That has been Velcroed in place.
