We leave in a few days for a completed unplanned 2 week vacation in Nova Scotia! Our destination is the Lighthouse Route and we need to find campgrounds for our travel trailer and 2 dogs in the Lunenburg area. I'd appreciate your suggestions. I have emailed three sites: Wayside-Supercity, Hubbards Beach and Rayport Campground, Martin River, but I realise that places will probably be very booked up. Thank you.

hi there... woodhaven rv park is just between halifax and lunenburg. We stayed there last year and made it our centeral location. They also had dog sitting.

If you don't mind unserviced sites, Graves Island Provincial Park is an option. It is only a few minutes (3) from Chester and close proximity to Mahone bay / Lunenburg.
