Golden Bear RV Resort, Klamath, California

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Bathrooms, laundry filthy. Feces in men's bathroom on toilet, was not cleaned the two days we were there. Laundry waste basket full when we used it.

Ok, if you don't mind putting down $20 deposit for restrooms and can stand being in them! We wouldn't stay here again or recommend to anyone. We camped at Golden Bear RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Winco grocery store great place, excellent prices and has some organic foods. For those familiar with Aldis, it's like that store on steroids

A Prairie Breeze RV Park, Menoken, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean, convenient off 94, friendly hosts. Quiet.

Stayed here 2 nights on our way to Roosevelt NP. Level sites, just drive in and check out/find a site, then put money in envelope at site entrance. Next to farm field and huge silos. Park has pine trees around it. We camped at A Prairie Breeze RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cincinnati South Campground, Crittenden, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

No wifi unless we walked two blocks over (we were in a pull thru), hosts were unaccommodating. Not friendly, but not rude. It appeared that we were doing them the favor by staying here. Gave us an uneven site, water/electric wrong side. No sewer at pull throughs. Showers were not working properly, you keep turning it and knob goes around and around. Hot and cold hard to distinguish. One toilet out of order in bathroom. Dump station difficult to get close to. 30 amp breaker blew with just Ac on. We thought it was overpriced for what you get. We got this type of site without a lot of things like wifi, hookups on wrong side, etc., maybe because we were here only one night? We camped at Cincinnati South Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cherry Hill Park, College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $59.00

This is very convenient park for going to D C. It was a bit noisy, because of the interstate. Nice showers and great amenities. They are expanding and it looks like it'll be beautiful. We camped at Cherry Hill Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

DC Smithsonian Museums are free, which is a real asset. If you are a senior citizen, fares on the bus/metro system are less than 1/2 the regular price.

Homestead Campground, Georgetown, Delaware

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for four nights, since the campground had a special for May-buy 2 nights, get 2 free. Sites are large and level and grassy. We were not given a list of rules, such as what to do with our garbage. We used the showers and restrooms, which were clean, but no shelves in the shower to put soap, etc. and only one hook for towels. Showers were cleaned @ 7:00 AM, so don't plan on taking an early shower.

Pools were not open, but no sign indicated this.

Overall, we felt like we were treated like we were in the way. They mowed one day and the mower came awfully close to our things at our trailer. It's a good thing I stood out there so he didn't get any closer. They also shut the water off and didn't tell us. Wi-Fi was down for two days. The store was closed at odd hours. We had to go and get the lady in the office to get a bag of ice. I'm pretty sure she saw us, but didn't respond until we came to get her.

This may be an OK campground during the summer season. We camped at Homestead Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Outlet shops and grocery stores are close in Lewes. Beaches are not far. Wonderful ice cream on route 9 on the way to Lewes at a dairy farm. Cows are right there, so you may want to eat it elsewhere, due to the "country" smell.
