Kla-Mo-Ya Casino, Chiloquin, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice place to overbite. This is a very busy camping area with a separate place for big trucks to park. There is traffic noise as you are right beside hwy 97. There is a restaurant in the casino and a dog run available. We camped at Kla-Mo-Ya Casino in a Motorhome.

Gold Dust West Carson City RV Park, Carson City, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Parking spaces are too tight and trees are a nuisance! They drag the limbs on the coach and couldn't use the satellite. The cable was not good. The laundry was ok as was the wifi. There are too many very old shabby rv's that seem to be there long term. Not a place that we will come back to. We camped at Gold Dust West Carson City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverside RV Resort & Campground, Bartlesville, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park by the Caney river. Very convenient when you are wanting to tour Bartlesville. The spaces are gravel, dry and dusty, with lots of cottonwood trees. There are a lot of beautiful flowers maintained by a worker. I did use the laundry which was good. We did not use the pool or showers. All did seem well. We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Cherokee Campground, Blacksburg, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped for one night at this park. Bill was very accommodating. There are a lot of full timers living here due to jobs. The spaces are laid out due to the lay of the land. We were very close on one side to our neighbor. Water, electric and sewer were fine. Very quiet residence. It is a nice park that we would come back to. We camped at Cherokee Campground in a Motorhome.

Old Town Campground 'N Retreat, Old Town, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly and courteous. This is an old park with a few live ins. We were here after the season so it was not busy. There is a dog run and path. It is very dry and dusty off the road which is blacktopped and very nice. Spaces are nice and wide. Water pressure was good as was electricity. A very pleasant stay. We camped at Old Town Campground 'N Retreat in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Chiefland is a nice town that has everything you might need. Old Town itself is small but there are eating places, grocery store and fuel. Good roads all around.

North Point RV Park, Longview, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is an easy location to get to. Very friendly staff. The park is out in the open with out trees. There are a few covered sites. We had a pull through on asphalt. The park sites are spacious. There is a dog run but I was very disappointed that visitors had not cleaned up after their pets even though there were bags and trash receptacle. I even walked my dog on another grassy area that was littered with poop! We camped at North Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ingram's Marina, Quincy, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This park is more like a fish camp. It is not well signed so you have to guess where to go. The office is not convient for checkin. This is not a park for us to come back to. We camped at Ingram's Marina in a Motorhome.

Big Buck Resort, Hornsby, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

This is not a resort! It's definitely not up to what the passport book leads you to believe! This is a very sad place that is a has been. The owner needs major amounts of money to bring it up to par! Some 50 amp has been added but you need a map to figure out your site which might be different from the site number given to you. The sites are grass. The roads need gravel and repair. You can tell that it was a very nice rv park in its day but I believe the previous owners had sucked it dry! We camped at Big Buck Resort in a Motorhome.

Murfreesboro RV Park, Murfreesboro, Arkansas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Actually the park is very small, but the hostess makes it worth the value! It is close to the diamond crater which was our destination. The water pressure was low and we did were not able to get any TV reception. The hostess is very knowledgeable of hunting for diamonds at the crater and gives classes and guidance on your hunting. Very helpful as I did not see any guidance at the park. We did enjoy our stay there and would return if we are ever back in the area. We camped at Murfreesboro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Midway Park COE, Waco, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

We had a lot of trouble locating this park. There a lot of full time campers here. The facilities were fine. We do stay at several corps parks and was surprised that it had not been mowed. Usually they are very well kept. This park would not be on our list to stay at again. We camped at Midway Park COE in a Motorhome.

Millpoint RV Park, Peoria, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is an old park on the Illinois River. It is shaded with huge trees that make good shade but still good tv reception. It is a large pull through with full hookups. It was not dusty due to lots of rain lately. Since it is all dirt it could be either muddy or dusty.

There is not an office and we were not told about wifi. According to the Passport book the rate is $10. With an extra charge for electricity. We actually paid $15 plus $3 for electricity. We did not go out in the evening so do not know about mosquitos! We camped at Millpoint RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cedarville RV Park, Cedarville, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small park in town on Lake Huron. It is a very well taken care of park. Several lots are owned and several are for sale. The price sounds good except everything is ala carte! There is a $3 charge for 50 amp and $3 if you use air conditioning etc! The view is very nice as there is a boat dock for rent with seating to watch the activity on the lake. This is a friendly park. We camped at Cedarville RV Park in a Motorhome.

Farquar-Metsa Tourist Park, Gwinn, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

You can't beat the price! There are just 20 sites and they are mostly filled. We had 50 amp power and good water pressure. Satellite tv worked fine. I used my own wifi. There are such great walking paths here. There is a lot of street closures so it was more difficult to get in the park. We really enjoyed our stay here. We camped at Farquar-Metsa Tourist Park in a Motorhome.

Greenwood Acres Family Campground, Jackson, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Yes there are 1100 sites but about 900 are seasonal campers. The grass strips are wide enough but not level. This is a very busy campground! Vehicles and golf carts are a constant! Speed limits are ignored. Not all sites have a sewer available. The trash compactor was very nice. WiFi was OK also. Water pressure was very poor! This seems to be a place that locals come out for the weekend to enjoy the entertainment and family come visiting which makes it a lot busier. The office is friendly but the Michigan campers are not! The entrance and exit have potholes and the check-in area blocks traffic. This is not the kind of park that we enjoy staying at! We camped at Greenwood Acres Family Campground in a Motorhome.
