RV Retreat at Johnson's Corner, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in space where we had more room between our units as ours was older unit. Newer units with slides and awnings will find it more challenging. Laundry facilities are taxing the drain system and overflow the drains, yet no warning signs are placed out. When office closes, not always as hours posted, no one will answer telephone until voicemail is listened to the following day, unless Sunday. Read all park posted signs pertaining to video taping and supposed rules, it may make your stay "easier?".

Sites are "graveled" still have drainage issues. We camped at RV Retreat at Johnson's Corner in a Motorhome.

Terry Bison Ranch Resort, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We came in May, 2014 and stayed until 20 Dec 2014. Yes we were aware that Cheyenne Frontier Days were coming up. With all the influx of visitors, moving from monthly paid site to dry camp site for 12 days was a little stressful. Some visitors didn't seem to understand that riding their ATVs in donuts wasn't having consideration for fellow campers. Packing 55 to 60 RVs in tight allowed little privacy and a bit of generator exhaust flavoring to fresh air. Majority of staff very friendly and helpful. Yes, there is highway noise, but, we are near an interstate and this is also a working bison ranch with camping and amusements added on. We only used the water to flush as there was a film that floated on top of coffee or any hot beverages. Some road and ground maintenance would make it easier to get around and a little more enjoyable. We camped at Terry Bison Ranch Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the trading post, walk around the mall. We drove to Ft Collins for shopping. If you don't like crowds don't go during Cheyenne Frontier Days! Otherwise visit old town area.
