This is an ongoing project, so during our time of stay it was just a field with a bunch of RV spaces. The owners are super friendly, they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The water hook-ups are top-notch and each site has both a 30 & 50 hook-up. There was no cable, but they offered free wifi and our antenna picked up over 30 local channels. They are constantly working to improve the place. The ''yards'' are huge! The way they have this place designed is genius. Each camper is back-to-back giving each lot a giant yard. There is a train track pretty close, BUT to our surprise it didn't bother us a bit. They don't blow a horn right by the park, and most of the time we never knew they were passing unless we were outside. They don't have any facilities, but like I said- they are just getting this place up and running so I'm sure in the future they'll have a lot more amenities. We were in the area for work and it was next to impossible trying to find an open lot in nearby cities. We stumbled across this little gem and we're glad we did! The town of Keenesburg is pretty small, but they have pretty much whatever you need (a little grocery store, dollar store, laundromat, auto parts, a few restaurants, ect.) If we have to go back to this region for work, we will definitely be giving the manager a call to reserve us a space! They have weekly rates as well as extended stay (monthly). Bottom line, these guys are good people.
Denver is about 30-40 minutes away
Nearest city is Brighton, 18 miles (Walmart, Lowes, ect) We camped at Wild Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
