Ponderosa Campground, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The folks here are very friendly and most helpful. The place is clean and orderly and most sites have well-grown trees.

The park is located two blocks from the Buffalo Bill museum, a two-day museum if ever there was one, fortunately the ticket is good for two days. The rodeo is a bit farther but there is a bus and the center of town is a LONG walk but do-able. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are more things to do in this small town than one would expect; The Buffalo Bill Museum of the West, the rodeo every night, the Irma Hotel (built by Cody) to name a few AND it's only 50 miles from Yellowstone (the world's first National Park).

Branson Shenanigans RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The bathrooms were the best I've ever seen in an RV park. The owners & their man Friday are wonderful & will do all they can to accommodate you. The park is beautiful & is loaded with trees. It is small (about 35 sites) & hilly which makes each site stand alone, instead of seeming packed like so many others.

The location is 2 long blocks from "The Strip" with several theaters and eateries easily within walking distance. Since "The Strip" is 5 miles long, the owners know of a very good car service. They also arrange discounts for most of the shows in town. They are the best and their park is the best we've seen in 5 years on the road. Obviously, I can't praise Branson Shenanigans enough. We camped at Branson Shenanigans RV Park in a Motorhome.

Branson has far more to offer than we believed when we decided to come here. We WILL be back & we will be back to Shenanigans.

Hilltop RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

New with very young trees, so no shade but it's on top of a hill with a nice breeze. The best place to stay on this section of I-10. Very, very clean. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.
