Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging, Groveland, California

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Gravel/dirt site (50) that was not level but the Jacks made it livable. Site was long enough for 37' rv with tow vehicle but was very narrow for the 4 slides. We were there in early May so the worker bees were working very hard on getting the park spruced up for the season. Clean showers and laundry (1.25 for wash and 1.00 for dry) and very helpful and friendly folks in the office. Yes the drive up is steep and windy but not as stressful as driving thru L.A.! On the drive down we connected the tow at the bottom of the hill. About an hr. drive to Yosemite village but we'll worth it. We camped at Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging in a Motorhome.

Sequoia RV Ranch, Three Rivers, California

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here in a 37' RV with tow. Level gravel sites. Picnic tables, fire rings in some sites, trees. We were in site 4 with a great mountain view. Portable satellite worked great. WiFi was good. AT&T cell coverage only, but there is a land line phone in office that you can use for free. Short drive to Sequoia National Park. Very nice people in office. We would stay again. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Arabian RV Oasis, Boron, California

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Level gravel pull thru with full h/ups. Good WiFi, cell and satellite service. P/A discount was $14. Odd shower set up - 2 stalls and 2 side by side toilets all in 1 room. Co-ed but you can lock from the inside. Great water pressure. Only stayed overnight in a 37' RV with tow which we did not have to disconnect. We camped at Arabian RV Oasis in a Motorhome.

Coachlight Inn & RV Park, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 2 extra nights due to high winds. Large level gravel sites with picnic table. Great wifi. Not the strongest water pressure but ok. Not the cleanest laundry facility but for a $1 a load it was ok. P/A price of 18.65 made for a good deal. We camped at Coachlight Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Coronado Campground, Bernalillo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Paved spaces, all have covered casitas, 30 amp power,. Water pressure good, clear enough for satellite to work well, Verizon coverage good. Had to extend stay due to medical issues and the staff worked it so we did not have to move. Close to Santa Ana Casino and golf. Lots of room to walk the dog. Only negative- showers didn't really get hot, no laundry. But we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Coronado Campground in a Motorhome.

Alpen Rose RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Level gravel sites, grass between sites, picnic tables. Met at office by fellow who guides you to site. Must disconnect before parking. Close to town. Laundry was pricey-2.75 wash 2.00 dry. We had 50 amp and great satellite reception. The only negative was that sites faced each other. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Motorhome.

Paved pads with grass between sites. Trees needed to be trimmed but all 4 slides were out. Tailgater satellite worked great as did WiFi. Close to Zion and St. George. Friendly staff. Only negative--and it's small--no hooks for clothes in showers. Would definitely stay again. We were in a 37' RV. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Red Ledge RV Park, Kanarraville, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We had to unhook tow, do a u-turn in the street and back in from the street into our site which was next to a long long long ago abandoned RV and a trailer with 6 ATVs and all kinds of junk underneath. Our water hook up was under their picnic table but we used extra hose to hook up elsewhere. The only reason we stayed was because of the price. I will say the owners were nice and the park is close to Cedar City and the Kolb Canyon area of Zion. Would not stay again unless guaranteed a spot in the actual park and not in the storage area. We camped at Red Ledge RV Park in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Pull thru sites large enough for our 37' rv with tow and 4 slides. Gravel sites with grass and picnic tables. A little close to neighbors but for $25 it was fine. We extended our stay twice and the office staff was great-we didn't have to move the 2nd time! Very quiet and star gazing was great because of being out of the city. Clean shower and laundry. Would stay again. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Crooked River Ranch RV Park, Crooked River Ranch, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a 37' rv with 4 slides and had plenty of room. Fairly level gravel sites with large cement pad (covered by indoor /outdoor carpet ) for a picnic table. Shade trees but some sites are good for satellite. Gorgeous canyon, cliff and golf course views from many sites. Lots of dog walking area. Easy walk to golf or restaurant. Short drive from Smith Rock St. Park. We will return. We camped at Crooked River Ranch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sandy Riverfront RV Resort, Troutdale, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Flat, paved pad with room for a tow plus an extra car pad. Grass between spaces plus a picnic table. Spaces were close but we had plenty of room for our 4 slides. Needed a cable box and the fellow in the office was very helpful. Mostly full timers along the river but their rigs and spaces were very clean and very well maintained. We were at the opposite end from the restroom/showers so it was a bit of a walk. Could hear a couple of trains in the distance -not the least bit loud. 2 block walk to town and the river next to the park is perfect for dogs. Would stay again.
