Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Madison, Madison, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We spent 1 night there in a 40' 5th wheel they put us in a Big Rig Site which was nice and easy to pull into but there is zero shade. When you leave the site it is a hard left followed by a hard right to get out the gate. They started allowing day campers in on the weekends so the water park and all kids activities are very busy. In addition to that there are ATV trails on the property next to the CG. People bring ATVs and ride through the CG all day with no regard for personal space. They ride through empty sites, speed, etc... It is right off I-10 so you do get some (not bad) highway noise. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Madison in a Fifth Wheel.

Pine Mountain RV Resort, Pine Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is corporate owned (or at least it appears to be) seemed like folks in the front office knew very little about camping. Everything is very expensive for a campground in the middle of no where. We stayed on site 189 which they sell as a lake view. The lake is on the property across the street. The pool is small compared to the number of site they have. The campground is clean and well maintained just expensive. Firewood was $10 for 7 pieces of firewood. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Not much to do in the area. The local pizza place is dirty and not very good. Did not try any other restaurants.

Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground, Sevierville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a hidden gem. The campground has been open less than a year and the owners live in the campground. Laundry, Firewood, and Ice are all on the honor system. Take what you need and pay for it at your convenience (hope the owners don't get taken advantage of). We put our 40' fifth wheel on a back in site on the river. With the camper on the site the truck almost doesn't fit. Sites are asphalt and pretty level. We camped at Duvall in the Smokies RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

OH! Kentucky Campground & RV Park, Berea, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for a place to stop and hang your hat for the night this place is not bad. Sites are relatively small and the pool that they have been working on for well over a year is still not open. We camped there in a 40' fifth wheel in a pull through site. It is a bare bone basic campground. We camped at OH! Kentucky Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Whittington Woods Campground, Whittington, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a gem. We stayed there in a 40' toy hauler. Had a great site and really enjoyed our stay. Large site over looking a field. There was free ranging chickens however they never bothered us. Easy to navigate through the park and plenty of room for the truck once unhooked. We camped at Whittington Woods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Branson Lakeside RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

All of the sites are VERY small. Depending on your camper and the camper next to you, you may or may not be able to put out your awning. We were on site 173 which is right next to the pavilion. The pavilion is open to the public, in addition to that that is the road to the community boat ramp. All of the neighbors connections (Sewer, Water, Power) were right by our picnic table. The shuttle bus quits at about 530ish, so if you go to dinner or such you may not have a ride back. The bathhouse is old and outdated, no so much as dirty as just old. The campground is run by the city so the employees are not real concerned about the guests. We camped at Branson Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Little Rock North / Jct. I-40 KOA, North Little Rock, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We camped there in a 40' triple axle toy hauler. Our site was right across from the camp store. To get onto the site requires a VERY tight turn. for a big rig. The site was nice, the people were friendly and overall it was a good experience. We would stay there again. We camped at Little Rock North / Jct. I-40 KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

America's Best Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

In the area in which we were put, the sites are built in what I would consider a step-like fashion. There is a slight downhill slope to the site on one side and a slight uphill to the site on my other side. The site (42) is rather small with a 40' 5th wheel on it. wWhen setting up water, sewer, and electric I was having to stand on the slope to hook up. The sites are gravel and not real level front to back or side to side. This could be due to the amount of rain/flooding recently. There seems to be a fair amount of permanent folks all in one area. The pool is small and the Internet is VERY slow and often not worth trying to use. We camped at America's Best Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Jellystone Park of the Alabama Gulf Coast, Elberta, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. The pull thru sites are easy to get in and out of. The back in sites can be tricky for big rigs or triple axle trailers. The campground owners are always out and about and very friendly. Would recommend stopping in here. This is our second time here. We camped at Jellystone Park of the Alabama Gulf Coast in a Fifth Wheel.

Gulf Shores / Pensacola West KOA, Lillian, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

As soon as you turn in the entrance there is a rather steep hill. The sites are small and trying to navigate through the campground towing is difficult. Had there not been empty sites I am not sure how I would have gotten out. I have a 40' fifth wheel and a dually. There is no beach. We camped at Gulf Shores / Pensacola West KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
