Alderwood RV Express, Mead, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful! The staff is very friendly and accommodating and gave us complimentary cookies, coffee and doggie treats. We are staying a month, so the daily rate I posted reflects that monthly charge. We had seen this park in the past and had heard negative comments. There is new management and they are fabulous. The difference is night and day! Excess shrubs and trees have been taken out or cut back. The brick patios are lovely. The thorough information about our pets makes us feel good about their health and safety. There is a nice outside play area, a super indoor play area and swimming pool, and a little store. There is a great grocery store across the street and Green Bluff with all kinds of fresh fruit is just up the hill. This Alderwood RV Park is, as the kids say, THE BOMB!! We camped at Alderwood RV Express in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Spokane is just down the road with movie theaters, plays, museums, gorgeous parks and terrific restaurants. Only about 35 miles away is Coeur d alene, Idaho and a world renoun destination hotel. There are many lakes and ski hills, in our opinion, this area is heaven on earth.

Saguaro RV Park, Jackpot, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here twice and will return if we are in the area. We enjoy the green grass and trees, as well as the pool, hottub and casino. We wish the laundry area included more washers and dryers, because they only have 2 washers and 2 dryers with no area to fold clothes. There is a nice park with trees and picnic tables where we have enjoyed walking our dogs. Jackpot is a tiny town! We camped at Saguaro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Jackpot is a small town, but Cactus Pete's is a wonderful hotel, resort and RV Park. There is a small grocery store across the street, and there are several other small casinos in town. We enjoy the pool and hottub and have found the hotel buffet to be quite good as well.

Wendover Nugget RV Park, Wendover, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have never experienced a park like this before. There were only 2 spaces available, because the others were filled by extended stay RV's. I had to clean up the dog poo and broken glass in the crushed rock outside the door of our motorhome. There were no restrooms or showers. There was no laundry, and there were no trees in sight. The neighbor's sewer was leaking, and it smelled bad, and they charged $35.00 a night! We would never consider returning to that park. Wendover needs a decent RV park in our opinion, or the Nugget needs to improve the conditions in their park. We camped at Wendover Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Wendover is a gambling town, with about 5 large casinos, a movie theater and a live theater venue. The salt flats are nearby, and there is a museum and airport where heavy bombers landed during WWII.
