Catawba Falls Campground, Old Fort, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park, built when people went camping to get away from it all. And you do! But the people were nice and we were happy to read instead of watch TV or use the computer for a day or two. Sites are small and narrow but back up to a nice creek. Only 30AMP available. We camped at Catawba Falls Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Elkhart Campground, Elkhart, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly check-in, easy to find grassy site with a picnic table, nice dog run with grass. No real exercise room or community center, but they could have been locked. Extra fee for cable. The pool was closed. Very close to several RV manufacturers. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Dream Catcher RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This park is all stone, with no real street delineations. An excellent price for a three way site but no cable, no pool and no wifi, although they are available at the hotel next door. When we checked in, we were given a schedule of events but it turned out that most weren't held and we weren't exactly welcomed at the ones that were. We camped at Dream Catcher RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Turkey Creek RV Village - Escapees Rainbow Park, Hollister, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Small sites with tight turns and narrow muddy streets with overhanging trees. It's an older campground, but still charming. No community room, but our neighbors were friendly and we shared picnic tables. Easy to get to the city. We camped at Turkey Creek RV Village - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Really a lovely area. Best if you overshoot the exit they tell you to get off at if you have a large vehicle as there is a tight roundabout you would need to go through.

Kamper Kompanion RV Park, Litchfield, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice smaller park, clean and well kept. Pride of ownership shows. Surprisingly good wifi. No pool or individual picnic tables, but they are scattered about the grounds and there is a very nice screened pavillion. Close to town, just off I-55. Price is for full hookups (no cable) with PA discount. We camped at Kamper Kompanion RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sea-Vu Campground, Wells, Maine

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are tight, but they space people as far apart as possible. The amenities are clean and neat. The office is open long hours, and the staff works hard to make you happy. It's a very secure campground, which we appreciated. It *is* right on Rte 1 so if you don't like traffic or the occasional train in the distance, don't stay here - or anywhere near the ocean in the summer for that matter. We would come here again. We camped at Sea-Vu Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
