Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was very nice, quiet. The fire ring was right where the camper had to go in order to fit on the spot. Had to move it but first you have to get permission. No problem but it was a hike to the office as the family waited. The big pool was awesome, it had a very wide low area with a step down to get in the deep end. Made it great for kids. The kiddy pool was too cold for kids but the big pool was great.
I would give them a 10 except for the mess we had getting our reservation finalized. My daughter was bringing our camper and staying two nights and we were coming a couple days later and staying the rest of the week.
We had to make two different reservations and couldn't get anyone to confirm that we would not have to move the camper once it was set up.
It was a mess, way to many calls and way to much on-line messing around. It could all have been done over the phone but the phone person has no authority to do anything. We camped at Elizabethtown / Hershey KOA in a Travel Trailer.

K'san Campground, Hazelton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground on the river, however you can only see a very small part of the river because the grass is so high. Mosquitos were prevalent. I would have given them a 10, except for both days we were there, they were mowing and/or weed eating. Which I understand needs done, but I could have had the whole place done in one day, the fella was so slow. The desk person had no personality and offered very little direction, we had to pull it out of her. The spot was flat, hook-ups were great and the area offered a lot to see, with a really nice museum within walking distance. We camped at K'san Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain Shadow RV Park and Campground, Iskut, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We have traveled across the US and are heading to Alaska so stayed at a lot of campgrounds, and this one ranks #1 on this trip. The view is spectacular, the owners are gracious and very nice. The folks we met here were so much fun. We stayed two nights. Saw a moose and eagles. The skeeters are not bad and we had a great time. We camped at Mountain Shadow RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Hideaway RV Campground, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Very interesting campground. Right in the city of West Yellowstone. Walking distance from town. Not very big, we pulled in and our site was actually the place we pulled into, right beside the host RV. Very tight. We camped at Hideaway RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Walking distance from downtown West Yellowstone which was a very pleasant town. And, only 15 min from the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Unfortunately one of the Yellowstone roads was closed which made going to Teton National Park an all day trip. The host's dog was on a chain but outside and crawled under our trailer and kept clanging her chain on our steps. They were not there, and I don't mess with strange dogs. Didn't like that.

Bear Canyon Campground, Bozeman, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Host and hostess were very friendly and accommodating. We had a back in site which slanted to the back. Sites are all gravel with no grass except if you were tent camping. View was great, there was a train you could hear but it was in the distance, kind of nice. We camped at Bear Canyon Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Just outside of Bozeman, MT right off I-90. Very easy to get to.

We didn't have sewer but water and electric were easy access. Close to Yellowstone and downtown Bozeman. Would stay there again.

Riverfront RV Park, Garrison, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access from I-90. We didn't even get out of the vehicle

when a really nice gentlemen took us directly to a pull thru site. Didn't even ask for one, the sites are huge. We have a 28' travel trailer and usually have to back in -- nope, just pulled on thru.

They have a toilet facility with pay showers and laundry, we didn't use any of that. They had a game room with fireplace and plenty of literature for area attractions. We stayed one night, but would gladly stay again. Oh yes, picnic tables were new and not wooden for splinters. You can hear I-90 but that doesn't bother us. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
