Only clean bathrooms are on the bottom level. Never once did they clean the top ones. First campground I ever went where a small pup tent is a added camping unit and not allowed. I have camped at over 25 campgrounds. My son has outgrown the trailer couch and we like to set up a small tent. Nothing to do during the week until the seasonals get there on Friday. Camp store closed at 7pm and basketball courts is rundown. Had great weather but this is one camper that they will never see back again as we couldn't wait to leave. I would think the other reviews are by the seasonals or friends of the owners. The first time a highly reviewed campground let me down and my lesson was learned. Terrible place that should close to non seasonals.

Not as great as others have said. Wi-Fi was horrible, slow and not realizable. They are tying to improve the park but forgot they have to maintain what they already have. Asked for a new Bball net and never got it the week we stayed. Also no hot water in the main shower area by the buffet. Breakfast for most of the day even though I reported it at 9:15am. Camp workers are nice and seem to like the job. Indoor pool was real nice. Met the owner and he seemed nice but only talked to him for a few minutes. Only saw them clean the shower area once and I stayed a week. Mini-golf is a mess and needs to be replaced. Local area is boring unless you drink a lot of wine. I would probably think they are the best place to camp in the area as the choices are minimal.

I invite all campground owners to stay at the best and rated in the top 100 in the country and try to make their campground half as nice.I have been coming for years and was the very first place I ever camped. The place is immaculate and enjoyable even in foul weather.Park personel are all friendly, entertainment enjoyable and I could go on and on or you can scroll down and read all the other reviews.I can safely say the people that gave this a bad review cannot be pleased.

First the bad: dumpster closes at 5pm, Lake front means behind seasonals that are on the lake front, Gate closes before 9pm locking us out 2 nights, not much happening after Saturday night as far as activities, roads are bumpy, (they call it speed control), seasonals dominate, they have different rules than the rest of the campers. The good: location on Lake Ontario, check-in went well, site was level, cable was the best I have had at a campground, pool nice but cold, had rules that made it boring, and best-band on Saturday was OK. Not likely to return as the area doesn't offer much if you don't fish or own a boat.

My comments start with saying this is a beautiful campground. I would give it a 10 if all the camp roads were paved and there were a little less pool rules. I don't think a foam ball in the pool has drowned anyone yet but its banned. Tough for teens to have any fun in all the pools. We also felt that there were different rules for those that camp there a lot and people like my family that camps there every couple years. Small things because its a great place to camp.

We liked this campground, but agree with all the negatives that have been stated by ealier reviews. Highway noise, they nickle and dime you to death, and the time they choose to close the restroom for cleaning (9:30am) was odd to say the least. I think I would try another campground before returning. We stayed in August for four nights and have 2 kids 11 and 14. We did not pay the dollar for each slide down.
