Very pleasant campground along the Columbia River. Hot when we were there, but had good shade at the campsite. Fairly steady noise at night from nearby I-82. We camped at Umatilla Marina and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Elk Mountain RV Resort, Stanley, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground west of Stanley in the Sawtooths. We were here in September and appreciated the electrical hookups. This CG is rustic and has plenty of shade. The on-site restaurant is good and very reasonably priced. We would stay here again. We camped at Elk Mountain RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Madison Campground (NPS Campground), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent NP campground. Sites were pullouts (right and left) around campground loops. After watching several folks try to pull through the loops, it was evident that the best tact is to go past the pullout and then back in. Restrooms are heated (a plus on chilly mornings). We camped at Madison Campground (NPS Campground) in a Travel Trailer.
