Mohican Adventures Campground, Loudonville, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $100.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean park. Stayed at the Bluegill cabins which are very stripped down Camper Cabin A frames. The salt water pool, jacuzzi, and showers are fantastic. Camp store is expensive but fully stocked. Big plus for me was the unlimited free coffee. WiFi was sketchy but available. Only knock on this place is it is not on the river. We camped at Mohican Adventures Campground in a Cabin.

Tips for other Campers:

Good fishing in main pond and their livery, Ropes courses, and putt putt, across the street is top notch.

Mohican Wilderness, Glenmont, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I have been camping at Mohican Wilderness since the 80's. For the most part, nothing has changed and Mohican Wilderness Delivers a great laid back and rustic camping trip. I have been camping up and down the river and Wilderness has the best river front sites and a lot of them! The new office and store front, built in 2015 is very nice. Restroom and showers are rustic as well. This campground is meant to take you back to a simpler time. If you are looking for campgrounds with a pool, jacuzzi, WiFi, etc, then Wilderness is not for you. If you are looking to relax in gorgeous scenery with plenty of your own space, then Mohican Wilderness is for you. We camped at Mohican Wilderness in a Tent.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out the Blacksmith and candle maker. There is a nice little swimming hole across from 806 and if you have your own tubes, it is a nice trip from the tube launch to the other end of the campground.
